Young Chul Kim tops Mid-Am Golf Championship…qualifies for Korean Open

Kim Young-cheol topped the leaderboard at the Chammaroo Construction Bae Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Championship organized by the Korea Golf Association (KGA).

Kim shot a 2-over-par 74 in the final three rounds of the tournament, which was held at Pocheon Daeyumonber Country Club (Par 72) in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, on April 25. He finished with a final score of 2-under par 214 to win the tournament.

With the win, Kim also qualified for the Kolon Korea Open in June. “I’m happy to win the National Title Tournament, and now that I’ve qualified for the Korea Open, I want to prepare hard and do well,” said Kim.
