The 2023 season of the LIV Golf Invitational Series, backed by the capital of Saudi Arabia, will open on the 24th of next month.
The LIV Golf Series unveiled the schedule for this season on the 25th, with the opening game held in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for three days from February 24th. A total of 14 competitions will be held this season, including Saudi Arabia in early November. The host countries of the tournament are Mexico, the United States, Australia, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
This year, the LIV golf tournament will not be held during the existing four major tournaments, the Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, and British Open.
LIV Golf, launched last year, held its first tournament in June and held a total of eight tournaments. In each competition, the individual prize money of 20 million dollars (about 24.7 billion won) and the group prize money of 5 million dollars (about 6.2 billion won) were held. 안전놀이터
Due to astronomical prize money and transfer fees, many players from the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour, such as Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau (above USA), and Cameron Smith (Australia), transferred to LIV Golf, causing conflict with the PGA side. The PGA Tour issued a disciplinary action banning players who transferred to LIV Golf from playing on the PGA Tour. Even this season, LIV golf players will not be able to play on the PGA Tour.
