The U-24 national team led by head coach Hwang Seon-hong convened the Paju NFC (National Team Training Center) on the 15th and began training for three days.

Hwang Seon-hong-ho, who is preparing to participate in the Asian Games in Hangzhou in September, is convened with 27 people to work together. Most of the players are members of the U-24 and U-22 national teams who went to Qatar for an away evaluation last March.

All 27 players called up this time are K-League players. A large number of players who are active in the current team, such as Eom Won-sang (Ulsan), Yang Hyeon-jun (Gangwon), Ko Young-jun (Pohang), Cho Young-wook (Gimcheon), and Ko Jae-hyeon (Daegu), were included.

In the open training that started at around 4:00 pm on the day, the national team players stretched and warmed up with step training.

However, Song Min-gyu (Jeonbuk), who had an ankle ligament injury, digested team training normally. Following the step training, they drew attention by digesting the training normally in the group training. 

Song Min-gyu started as a front-line striker along with Hafa Silva in the 10th round of Hana 1 Q K League 1 2023 against Gangwon held on April 29 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium. 

After the defensive situation in the 18th minute of the first half, Song Min-gyu received the ball in the process of switching offense and was tackled by opponent Kim Dae-woo in the process of advancing.
