The LG Twins of Seoul will host the club’s monthly awards ceremony and victory chant during their midweek home series against the KT Wiz on April 4.
On the first day of the midweek home series, the LG Twins will honor the June Player of the Month, sponsored by the LG Twins Executive Club, prior to the start of the game. Plutko, who recorded three wins, 31 strikeouts, and a 0.84 ERA in 32 innings over five games, was named MVP, while Kim Hyun-soo and Kim Jin-sung were named best hitter and best pitcher, respectively, and Oh Ji-hwan was named pitcher of the game.
On the 5th, the ‘June Digital Locker Room Monthly MVP’ award ceremony and victory cheer will be held before the game. Flutko was also named the Digital Locker Room MVP of the Month for June, as voted for by fans and players. The player selected as MVP will receive an LG Ultra PC as a prize. Fans who participated in the voting will be selected by lottery to win a chance to participate in the award ceremony and blue seats, and 10 fans will receive Ticketlink gift certificates.
Actor Min Woo-hyuk will be performing the victory prayer. Min Woo-hyuk recently gained popularity for his role as “Roy Kim” in the drama “Dr. Cha Jung-sook,” winning the hearts of many fans. Min Woo-hyuk used to play for the LG Twins, but an unfortunate injury forced him to retire from baseball and pursue an acting career.
