A slice of heaven, a day well spent at The Heaven Island Resort

Our thirst for exotic landscapes drives us to travel. If you’re planning a trip near Seoul, there’s no place like it. The Heaven Island Resort (Chairman Kwon Mo-se, hereafter referred to as The Heaven) is located on Ansan’s Daebudo Island, a picturesque place where the horizon of the sea meets the sky of the West Sea and small islands blend harmoniously together. From Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, it’s an easy 11-kilometer drive along the Sihwa Seawall across Sihwa Lake to reach Daebudo Island.

The Heaven is a high-end, seven-star hotel-style residence, built into the hillside in the center of the Island Country Club, with the course as its garden. Launched in October last year, this new landmark on Daebudo Island has been nominated for Golf Digest’s Editor’s Choice Best Golf Resort in Asia. It should definitely be on any golfer’s bucket list.

Time to fall for the fatal attraction
On a short trip, the accommodation becomes a destination in itself. The Heaven Island Resort’s slogan, “Stay Above Value,” makes for a memorable stay. The Sunset Indie Ocean Package, which was introduced to celebrate the opening of the outdoor infinity pool in April, has been sold out since its launch. Guests are greeted with classical music and a welcome drink upon entering their room, while a pre-set floral arrangement of Los Vascos rosé wine and dried flowers sets the romantic tone.

Breakfast and a one-hour late checkout are a nice bonus. The best part is that you can watch the red sun set over the horizon at sunset. As you soak in the heated pool and marvel at the surreal scenery, you’ll feel your tiredness melt away. It’s a magical time.

A day of healing, wellness, and pampering
Armed with top-of-the-line facilities, you won’t feel uncomfortable during your stay, and it’s an inviting place for relaxation and leisure at the same time.

Upon arrival at the resort, the underground parking garage provides direct access to the community center, The Heaven Members Club. Check in at the desk, which is dominated by a giant rock formation, and you’ll have access to all of the resort’s amenities. It’s an efficient way to get around.

To the left of the community center is the book café Isola, a yoga room, gym, and beauty care shop. Isola has a bright and lively atmosphere, and breakfast is a must-try. Fresh ingredients are used to prepare the breakfast, which is served in courses to create a hearty meal. From the bread to the soup, to the carefully composed American breakfast, to the yogurt with plenty of seasonal fruit, it’s all about wellness.

In the yoga room and gym, guests can rejuvenate their bodies and minds with a wellness program with a professional, or soothe irritated skin and tired bodies in the post-golf beauty shop. The beauty care shop offers foot baths, nails, skin care, and massage services.

To the right of the community center is an infinity pool, an indoor pool, a Finnish sauna, and a screened golf course. The indoor pool looks out over the lush green golf course. The infinity pool cabanas and sunbeds are perfect for a leisurely tan.
A truly private residence

Inspired by the Longboat Key Golf Club in Sarasota, on the southwest coast of Florida, this is the perfect place for golfers looking for a private getaway. Play on the links-style Island Country Club and stay overnight at The Haven to complete your golf trip.

With fewer than four rooms on a single floor, The Haven offers plenty of privacy. The residence combines the best features of an apartment and a luxury hotel, with a total of 228 rooms. It has a total floor area of 54,700 square meters and six buildings ranging from the first basement to the 11th floor. There are four room types: Super Penthouse (200 square meters), Penthouse (150 square meters), Royal Suite (70 square meters), and Suite (60 square meters).

The interior features offer panoramic views of both the ocean and the course. The windows are designed so that the outside landscape becomes an extension of the room, and all rooms have open terraces so that guests can enjoy the beautiful sunset up close.

The interior was designed by B&A INC’s Bae Dae-yong, who is also responsible for Hannam Nine One and Lotte Tower Signiel Residence. In addition to the interior, stability was also secured. As the building is located next to the West Sea, it has a wind-resistant design that can withstand wind speeds of 80㎧ and an earthquake-resistant design that can withstand an earthquake with a magnitude of 9.0.메이저사이트

Increase the value of your space
When it came to finishing the space, no detail or piece of furniture was spared. The built-in cabinets are by B&B Italy, and the kitchen is by German luxury brand Bulthaup. No detail has been overlooked, from the premium KitchenAid refrigerator, to the Miele washer and dryer, to the Kohler faucets.

Artwork is scattered throughout the facility. On the way to the book cafe Isola, a display of chairs by world-renowned architectural designers draws the eye. The lobby features Desiree sofas from the Italian eco-friendly furniture brand Euromobil Group. In the super penthouse, Picasso artwork and Italian high-end classic brand Pozzoli are featured to enhance the value of the space.
