52nd National Youth Sports Games opens in Ulsan…four days of intense competition

The 52nd National Youth Sports Games (Boys’ Games) kicked off on Sunday in Ulsan, South Korea, and will run for four days.

Twelve thousand athletes from across the country will compete in 36 sports, including track and field, swimming, soccer, baseball and softball, tennis, wrestling, judo, kendo and archery.

41 venues in Ulsan will host 29 sports and seven venues in Gangwon, Gyeongbuk, Daegu, and Busan will host seven sports.

The city of Ulsan will provide 340 vehicles, including 68 chartered buses and 272 taxis, for the transportation of athletes from June 26-31.메이저사이트

In addition, officials and volunteers will be deployed at each stadium to provide guidance and maintain order.

The city will operate a comprehensive traffic situation room to manage traffic conditions in congested areas such as the General Sports Complex and Munsu Sports Park.

It will be the first time in 17 years that Ulsan has hosted the Boys’ Games.
